Behind Nova Buss stands many years of experience in the transport industry and a genuine passion for service and travel.
About us
Nova Buss is an Åland-based bus company founded on 6 August 2025 with the goal of offering safer and more efficient travel for small to medium-sized groups. We identified a need for a smoother alternative between large touring coaches and multiple separate taxis — and therefore chose to focus on smaller buses with 22–29 seats.
For us, a journey is about more than simply getting from point A to point B. We aim to create a calm, comfortable, and well-organized experience where passengers can relax and feel well taken care of throughout the entire trip. With smaller buses, travel becomes more personal and flexible, allowing us to better adapt each journey to the group’s needs.
A family-run company with experience behind the wheel
Nova Buss is operated by the couple Pierre and Nevin Borgs, who share a vision of providing smooth and high-quality transport services in Åland and across the Nordic region.
Behind the wheel you’ll find Pierre — raised in Sweden with strong ties to Åland and many years of experience as a bus driver. After countless miles across Sweden and Finland, he knows what it takes to deliver a safe, reliable, and enjoyable journey for both small and larger groups.
Personal service is an important part of Nova Buss. We value the simplicity of a well-functioning journey — where everything runs smoothly without stress, and where there is time to enjoy the ride just as much as the destination.
